All the activities of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) are closed until further instruction from the administration. However, since July 18, there are no students in the campus, but there are security personnel. Director of Security Council Prof. Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam and his team of security personnel are working delightly to ensure security of the campus.

On Thursday ( 25 July ) around 11am,  a discussion meeting was held on the overall security of the university with the security personnel at the main security wing. Here Prof. Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam urged the security personnel to wear uniform and perform their duty with justice and devotion. Later, he distributed 62 torch lights among the security personnel.

Prof. Dr. Md. Shahiduzzaman of parasitology department, Chief Security Officer, Deputy Chief Security Officer and other security personnel were present at this time.
