BRAC Bank held career talk at BAU
BRAC Bank has recently organised a career talk at Bangladesh Agricultral University (BAU) in Mymensingh to guide students on career planning.
That event held on Thursday (May 09) at Syed Nazrul Islam Conference Hall of BAU. While Akhteruddin Mahmood, Head of Human Resources and Syed Abdul Momen, DMD and Head of SME Banking were present from BRAC Bank.
Akhteruddin Mahmood elaborated on the opportunity the bank provides to its people to grow as a corporate professional and realize their full potential.
He said about the appointment of talented people in the BRAC bank that Over the years, the BRAC Bank has become a home to the talents of the banking sector. This bank has emerged as the employer of choice thanks to its people-care initiatives, work environment, ethics, transparency, brand value and good corporate governance.”
He again said about the event at BAU, “We have come to Bangladesh Agricultral University with the promise of helping its graduates flourish and build a bright career. Our Young Leadership Program is the best in the banking industry, providing intensive training and fast-track career progression.”
From Bangladesh Agricultral University, the event was presided over the president of BAU Career Club, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Nasir Uddin. The acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Awal was the chief guest. Associate Students’ Advisor Prof. Dr. Afrina Mustari, Assistant Proctor Dr. Md. Arif Sakil and around 200 students were present.
The event was part of a larger initiative where BRAC Bank conducts career talks at various universities to prepare graduating students for the job market through interactive sessions.
