The Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Press Club held a courtesy meeting with the university’s Students’ Affairs Division and Proctor on Monday (September 2) at 1 PM in the conference room of the Proctor Office.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahidul Haque, Students’ Affairs Adviser; Associate Students’ Affairs Adviser, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shaef Ullah; and Proctor, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Alim. Representatives from the BAU Press Club, including Vice President Md. Zahid Hasan, General Secretary Md Rayhan Abid, and other executive committee members for 2024, were also present.

During the meeting, BAU Press Club members discussed various issues with the Adviser and the Proctor, focusing on student welfare. Topics included resolving dormitory-related issues, ensuring student safety, creating a student-friendly environment, and enhancing overall campus peace and discipline.

Students’ Affairs Adviser expressed his hope that the BAU Press Club would continue to play a leading role in the university’s development by reporting objectively on campus matters.
